Cookies Policy

What cookies are, how we use them on this website, and how you can manage them.

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies, the specific tools we use, and the choices available to you. We only set non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) after you give consent.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and (with your consent) understand how the site is used.

Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They set no advertising or tracking data.

  • Keeping your basket and booking progress as you move through the site.
  • Keeping you signed in to your account.
  • Remembering your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page.
  • Protecting our forms from bots and abuse using Cloudflare Turnstile.

Preferences (functional)

These remember choices you make, such as light or dark mode and your language selection. They are not used to track you.

Analytics (only with your consent)

These help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. They are switched off until you accept analytical cookies.

  • Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, which measures how the site is used and sets its own cookies.
  • PostHog, which provides product analytics and session replay to help us improve the site. All form inputs are masked, so anything you type (such as your name, address or payment details) is never recorded.
  • Plausible, which gives us simple, aggregate visitor statistics. It is cookieless and does not collect personal data or track you across other websites, so it runs without consent.

Advertising (only with your consent)

We advertise our service through Google Ads. With your consent, the Google tag measures which adverts lead to bookings and can make advertising more relevant to you. These advertising signals are switched off until you accept marketing cookies.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to detect and fix technical errors so the site keeps working. It records error and diagnostic information only. It does not record your browsing session and is not used for advertising.

Consent Mode and how the Google tag behaves

Our Google tag may load on every page, but until you accept cookies it sends only anonymous, cookieless information and sets no analytics or advertising cookies. It begins using cookies and collecting identifiable data only once you give consent. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Managing your choices

When you first visit, we show a cookie banner where you can Accept all, Reject non-essential, or open Preferences to choose categories individually. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the website footer. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Third-party cookies

Some features, such as payment processing or embedded content, may set their own cookies. These are governed by the relevant third party's own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
